The South Salt Lake City Police Department (Utah, USA) public on his official Facebook page a video showing a man kidnapping a woman at a gas station, which took place last Friday.
On Saturday, the Police made it known that both, perpetrator and victim, were located in West Valley City, a town in the same state. After being rescued, with essential help from information provided by the local community, the woman was taken to medical services.
The suspect, identified as Carl Gravitt, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. In accordance with local media, he and the victim knew each other previously and she had suffered from his abusive behavior before.
The aggressor is charged with various charges, including kidnapping, theft of a vehicle and possession of illicit substances. He is awaiting trial.
