So far, it is unknown what happened to the crew members of the aircraft, 5 Russians and 3 Turks. Search and rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
It is an aircraft leased to Russia to fight the massive forest fires that are registered in Turkey. From the Russian Defense Ministry they indicated that the plane crashed when it was preparing to land.
The Russian Ministry reported that it sent a commission to the scene of the accident to investigate the cause of the accident.
