The Russian vessels that made up the joint group were the Marshal Krylov measurement complex ship, the Admiral Tributs and Admiral Panteleyev anti-submarine ships and the Hero of the Russian Federation corvettes Aldar Tsydenzhapov and Gromki of the Pacific Fleet. On the Chinese side, the destroyers Kunming and Nanchang, the light frigates Binzhou and Liuzhou and the integrated supply ship Dun Ping Hu participated.

Sailors from Russia and China developed tactical maneuvers and conducted a series of trainings. In total, during the practical actions, the group of ships traveled more than 1,700 nautical miles.
