After a long year of drought there is no doubt that there is a desire to return to the Marvel Universe. Paul Bettany has listedn of the hype a little higher talking about Wandavision. The actor who plays Vision in the MCU has revealed that the series has even more visual effects than Endgame.
In statements made to Total Film, Bettany has assured that the Disney + series will make us see the Marvel universe in a totally new way:
The director of the series, Matt Shakman has spoken in a similar way joking that the series “certainly is not exactly Law and Order ”referring to the popular series of lawyers 90’s.
From the beginning, Kevin Feige has wanted the Marvel series on Disney Plus to feel like serial films, not a lower-quality television product. The Covid-19 pandemic has likely only further accentuated that goal. With cinemas closed or with a very limited capacity, Disney seems determined to put all the weight of the new stage of the MCU in the exclusive series of Disney Plus.
If they really do meet that goal, we have some very entertaining months ahead. Wandavision opens this Friday with a double chapter. She will be followed by The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki. The first reviews of Wandavision seem to point out that the series is good, but also weird, something that seems also clear when watching the trailers. It remains only to be seen if Disney will dare to premiere Black Widow on Disney Plus as it has done with Mulan. [Flickering Myth]
