Duff is a producer as well. ‘How I Met Your Father’ is a 20th Television production.
Moreover, the pop culture phenomenon starred Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby), Cobie Smulders (Robin Scherbatsky), Neil Patrick Harris (Barney Stinson), Jason Segel (Marshall Erikson), and Alyson Hannigan (Lily Aldrin). The narrator, an older version of Radnor’s character Ted, is played by the late actor and comedian Bob Saget.
Hilary Duff and Chris Lowell (plus Kim Cattrall) appear in the new program. It follows a group of close friends as they strive to make sense of their lives in New York City. Duff, Christopher Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma star in the series, which also has Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes, and Josh Peck as recurring characters.
What’s the plot?
When you stream HIMYF online, you go on a new love experience within a familiar setting. The series, which was initially announced in April 2021, follows a future Sophie (Kim Cattrall) as she recounts to her son the narrative of how she met his father when she was younger.
Sophie is played by Hilary Duff in the flashback version, who lives in New York City in 2021, and Kim Cattrall in the future version, who tells her story years later. The new program is a spin-off of the CBS blockbuster ‘How I Met Your Mother,’ which ran for ten seasons from 2005 to 2014. Ted Mosby recounts to his children the tale of how he met their mother in the first episode of the series. ‘HIMYM’ won many Emmys and received a Golden Globe nomination during the course of its nine-season run.
When the casting announcement was made, Duff disclosed: “As a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother, I’m honored and even a little nervous that Carter and Craig would trust me with the sequel of their baby … Just fangirling over here getting to join the Hulu Originals and 20th [Television] families.”

Surprisingly, the trailer did not make fans excited or confident about the upcoming series. It was chastised for dimming the spotlight on the currently popular original series. Others have praised the book and are anxiously anticipating the rest of the series.
