HBO launched the first trailer official of Tina Turner, the upcoming documentary about the life and long career of the iconic singer. “I started to really see that I had to make a change. Divorce, I got nothing. No money, no home. So I said, I’ll just take my name,” Turner says in the trailer.

The trailer hints at the ups and downs of Turner’s life, from his difficult childhood to his divorce and his “comeback.” The Truth News has for you the trailer for this documentary on Tina’s life. Check it out below:

I had an abusive life, “she says in the video, referring to her marriage to Ike Turner.” There is no other way to tell the story. Buddhism was a way out.

The trailer includes clips from his performances and interviews from the film that recall how he “filled in” various iconic locations.

“When I saw her dance, it was all I could see,” said one interviewee.

“His story reached so many people that they felt they had to keep their secrets under lock and key,” added another.

“It’s like the worst moments of your life have been an inspiration,” said a third.

Late last month, the HBO platform released the first trailer for the film with clips focusing on Turner’s tumultuous childhood.

The documentary, directed by Dan Lindsay, TJ Martin and Lightbox, offers a “revealing and intimate look at Turner’s life and career,” according to the official synopsis.

The documentary features interviews with singer Tina Turner in her hometown of Zurich, Switzerland and shows new images, audio tapes, personal photos of the queen of rock ‘n’ roll.
