Today is one of the days marked on the calendar for many people from all over the world, and it is that Apple products generate so much expectation that few can avoid missing the famous Apple Event 2021. Year after year, those from Cupertino convene their most anticipated event during the month of September and in this year 2021, today was the 14th the date chosen by Apple for the presentation of its novelties. This event is where it is presented every year the new iPhone, which this time comes in four versions and accompanied by other products.
Although the event will begin at 19:00 hours (Spanish peninsular time), below we are going to review everything that is expected to be presented this afternoon.
The new iPhone 13
As happened last year, this year we will see four versions of the new iPhone 13, the version Mini, the standard, the i Phone 13 Pro and the top version, the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Among the novelties that are expected to arrive, we must highlight the reduction of the size of the notch and the possibility that the screen can offer up to 120 Hz refresh rate.
Taking into account some of the leaks in recent days and weeks, another change will come in the battery capacity of some of these versions, which will arrive with greater capacity. Some is also expected improvement in the photographic section with the presence of a LiDAR scanner, improvements in snapshots taken in low light environments, a ProRes mode for video recording or a special module for astrography, although these details may only be seen in the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max.
In the internal storage section we could also see some change, since the iPhone 13 might not be available with a 64 GB version, the minimum version being 128 GB and it could be reached up to 1 TB of memory.
As for the availability of the new iPhone 13, it is expected that it will be available worldwide on September 24 and that the pre-orders begin this same Friday, September 17.
El Apple Watch Series 7
While in the new iPhone a great change is not expected at the aesthetic level with respect to the previous model, in the case of the Apple Watch Series 7 if we could talk about certain important changes. The main one is the size, since the Apple Watch would leave behind the sizes that we are already accustomed to of 40 and 44 mm to make way for an Apple Watch in 41 y 45 mm. This implies that the straps of the previous versions are not compatible with those of the new model
The screen of the new generation would reach 1.9 inch and it could have microLED technology. Inside, it is expected to house a larger capacity battery, so it could offer a greater autonomy. Without a doubt, a detail that many users would appreciate without any doubt.
Also, better overall performance is expected thanks to its more powerful processor and some improvements in certain functions, as well as in the registration of certain activities.
New AirPods 3 headphones
The new Apple AirPods 3 will also be one of the protagonists in the presentation this afternoon. Without a doubt, the great expectation for Apple headphones is whether they will finally arrive as a active noise cancellation system as it has been rumored or not. At the design level, they are also expected to have a facelift, reducing the size of the headset itself and the characteristic cane or stick and more rounded shapes.
Some headphones that will also have a sensor to detect the moment in which we remove them or put them in the ear and thus be able to restart or stop playback automatically. They are also expected to have touch controls and that allow, of course, to easily interact with the Siri assistant.
The AirPods 3 case will have a somewhat more elongated design, will continue with the led that indicates the battery and will have wireless charging. They are expected to support spatial audio and Dolby Atmos, a function to amplify the voice of people who are close to us and some new functions that the new iOS 15 would give them.
Although they are presented this afternoon, it is possible that they will be on sale a few days later at a price that would be around the same as the AirPods 2 with wireless charging.
New iPad and MacBooks?
If there is little to reveal about the iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7, the truth is that whether or not we will see a new version of the iPad and MacBook during today’s event is a mystery. As far as the iPad is concerned, we could see the iPad 2021 and the 6th generation iPad Mini.
The standard version of the iPad 2021 It would come with a 10.5-inch screen, therefore somewhat larger than the previous version. In addition, following the trend of the new iPhone 13, the most basic version could start with 64 GB of internal storage capacity instead of the 32 GB we are used to. It could be powered by the A13 Bionic chip and accompanied by 4GB of RAM and have a slimmer design.
Although it is still not sure if we will be able to see the new MacBook Pro in the presentation this afternoon, the truth is that everything indicates that they will arrive in the next few weeks, yes or yes. Two 14-inch and 16-inch models that will be powered by the famous M1X processor, MagSafe magnetic charge, miniLED screens and without Touch Bar.
