Where to See Your Favorite Country Artists on the Fourth of July

As the nation prepares to celebrate its 248th birthday, a group of country artists is gearing up to perform on some significant stages. To honor the Fourth of July, several country stars are set to perform ahead of the day’s main event — the fireworks.

For the 48th year, Macy’s will host its Independence Day celebration in New York City. The 4th of July Fireworks show will once again be held on the Brooklyn Bridge, featuring one of the largest fireworks displays in the country along with a stunning drone show lighting up the night sky.

This year’s lineup includes Lainey Wilson, The War & Treaty, Brandy Clark, and Mickey Guyton. Additional performers include Amber Mark and Luis Fonsi. The show will be broadcast live on NBC and stream on Peacock on Thursday, July 4 at 8PM ET.

Nashville will also be alive with country music to celebrate America. The headliner for this year’s Let Freedom Sing! Music City event is Chris Young, who will close out the night just before the fireworks illuminate the sky.

The event will also include performances by Yola, Girl Named Tom, Blessing Offor, and the Nashville Symphony. Fans can watch the event online at VisitMusicCity.com/july4th.

Willie Nelson is mixing things up for his annual 4th of July Picnic, which will be held in Philadelphia this year, the city where America was born. The 2024 lineup features Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Maren Morris, Mavis Staples, and Celisse, along with Nelson’s family.

Despite having canceled several shows recently due to health concerns, Nelson is still scheduled to perform at this year’s event.
