Who are Kyle Rittenhouse's Sisters: Faith and McKenzie

In August 2020, when he was 17 years old, and there was a disturbance in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kyle Howard Rittenhouse, born January 3, 2003, shot three men, killing two of them. Rittenhouse testified at his trial in November 2021 that he acted in self-defense, and the jury found him not guilty of murder and other offenses.

Right-wing media outlets and groups made a big deal out of Rittenhouse’s prosecution. After his trial, he went to several events organized by conservative groups and people, including a meeting with former president Donald Trump, television appearances with political analyst Tucker Carlson, and cameo roles in multiple Turning Point USA projects.

Family

Michael Rittenhouse and Wendy Rittenhouse are the parents of Kyle Rittenhouse. His father worked as a machine operator, battled addictions to drugs and alcohol, was unemployed, and was accused of domestic violence against his wife.

Whereas Wendy Rittenhouse, his mother, is a single mother who has held a nursing assistant position. Three children—Fatih, Kyle, and McKenzie Rittenhouse—were born to Michael and Wendy Rittenhouse.

Kyle Rittenhouse Sisters

McKenzie Rittenhouse, 18, and Faith Rittenhouse, 23, the sisters of Kyle Rittenhouse, were all raised by their mother, Wendy Rittenhouse. The Kenosha adolescent Kyle Rittenhouse, recently acquitted of murder and other counts in Wisconsin, comes from a disjointed home.

In May 2020, Kyle Rittenhouse received a Smith & Wesson M&P rifle from an older buddy at the Rusk County hardware shop. At the time, Kyle Rittenhouse was 17 years old and unable to purchase a handgun legally.

In November, Rittenhouse, 19, was acquitted by a Kenosha County jury on five charges, including homicide. He claimed that he acted in self-defense when he shot and killed two individuals and injured a third during a Black lives matter protest in August 2020.

Faith Rittenhouse

Faith Rittenhouse is the older sister of Kyle and McKenzie Rittenhouse. She was born in August 2000. To a family with Irish and German ancestry, Faith was born in Antioch, Illinois. She is the first child of Wendy Rittenhouse and Michael Rittenhouse. McKenzie Rittenhouse is Faith Rittenhouse’s other sister, and Kyle Rittenhouse is their brother. They were all raised by their single mother, Wendy Rittenhouse.

Kyle Rittenhouse’s sister McKenzie was dating Mr. Black, who supplied Kyle Rittenhouse with the rifle he used in the shooting. At a hardware store in Rusk County in May of that year, Black, then 18 years old, bought the gun for Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was not of legal age at 17 years old.

McKenzie Rittenhouse

18-year-old McKenzie Rittenhouse was born in December 2003. Nevertheless, McKenzie was mentioned in the trial because a man she dated previously acknowledged buying the firearm for Rittenhouse.

Because Rittenhouse was just 17 years old, the man claimed he didn’t give him the firearm; nonetheless, the judge ultimately rejected the weapons allegation owing to the language of the state legislation.

Incident Shooting In Kenosha

Rittenhouse, 17 at the time, opened fire on three men on August 25, 2020, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, following rioting that followed the shooting of a black man named Jacob Blake by a police officer. Rittenhouse, carrying an AR-15-style weapon, had joined a group of armed locals in Kenosha who claimed to be there to defend the town’s shops.

Rittenhouse fatally shot the man who had pursued him into a parking lot and had seized the rifle’s barrel. A throng chased Rittenhouse as he ran away.

After hitting Rittenhouse with a skateboard, the second man attempted to steal his firearm and was fatally shot by him. When Rittenhouse was confronted and had a firearm pointed at him, he injured a third person.

Rittenhouse’s defense attorneys contended that he acted in self-defense, asserting that he had used the force required to avert his death or grave bodily damage. The prosecution contended that Rittenhouse was perceived as an aggressive shooter and had provoked the other participants.

A jury found Rittenhouse not guilty after considering two counts of homicide, two counts of attempted homicide, and one act of reckless endangerment. According to an Economist, two-thirds of Republicans believed Rittenhouse should be exonerated, while three-quarters of Democrats said Rittenhouse should be found guilty.

This split public opinion and politicized media coverage of the shootings. A civil lawsuit was brought against the Kenosha police and county sheriff’s departments by the family of one of the individuals who was shot and killed there.

Wendy Rittenhouse

Wendy Rittenhouse, Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother, has frequently supported her son in interviews and was a continuous presence during her son’s jury trial, sobbing while her son testified.

She controversially stood by his side when he was pictured at a Wisconsin pub with members of the Proud Boys organization, even though his lawyers claim he is not connected to that group.

In response to those who criticize her kid, Wendy Rittenhouse stated that they should examine the incident’s footage since her son is not a monster. And they must take it to step by step. He didn’t; there was nothing wrong with him. According to her, a crowd attacked her son from the first person to the second and third.

Occurrences Of Turning Point USA

At a Turning Point USA event in June 2022, Rittenhouse participated in several activities organized by Turning Point USA, a conservative charity, including a panel discussion titled “Kenosha on Camera” at America Fest, a convention for conservative young people, in December 2021.

The crowd chanted his name and gave him a standing ovation when Kirk characterized him as a hero to millions of people. According to the event company, Rittenhouse was not paid for the 45-minute panel participation. Rittenhouse also made an appearance on stage at a Turning Point Young Women’s Leadership Summit in 2022, where he was introduced as the type of man you should be drawn to because he would stand up for his family and be strong in the face of culture and evil.
