I’ve been knocking on that door wanting to do that for quite some time“, he pointed.

Apparently, on several occasions she asked the production to become one of the directors of Outlander. “It’s something I’ve been talking about on the show but it’s falling a bit on deaf ears”, he continued. He also added: “I’m very close with the entire camera team and whenever they had conversations about what lens they were using and what frame it was, they were really helpful in giving me all the information I wanted. It’s a shame, but it’s out of my hands”.

In just a few weeks, the new episodes that will be part of the sixth season will be revealed, which began filming in early 2021 after the delay caused by the pandemic. The seventh installment is about to start filming and this could be Claire’s last appearance on screen. Rumors indicate that the contract of the protagonists will expire this year. However, the project aims to have at least 10 parts, just like the Gabaldon saga.
