Windows tools for admins: Sysinternals programs now with dark mode

Version 14.0 of the Windows tool Autoruns is here. This is a program that can be used to manage software that runs automatically at system start-up. A new dark mode is that primarily colors the background. There should also be other changes to the interface that are not listed here.

Autoruns comes from Sysinternals, a department at Microsoft that provides additional programs for Windows free of charge. The developers have also updated other of their tools: Process Monitor 3.84, TCPView 4.14 and Winobj 3.11 now also offer a dark mode. All three programs are aimed at administrators who want to monitor different aspects of the system.

In Process Explorer 16.43 there is now a new label medium + for process integrity levels under the process properties. The tool can be used to check which files are being accessed by which programs. There are other smaller updates for RDCMan and ProcDump, details can be found here in Microsoft’s announcement.
