While the internal confrontations in the Government of Argentina deepen after Sunday’s electoral defeat, the president, Alberto Fernández, confirmed this Thursday that he will make changes in the Cabinet, but not under “pressure,” he said in an interview with journalist Mario Wainfeld, from the newspaper Page 12.
According to the president, on Tuesday he had already agreed with Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner the substitutions that he will make in his team, for which he questioned that a dozen officials who respond to her have “rushed” by presenting the resignation.
“She (through Cristina Fernández) knows me, she knows that they take anything out of me for good. With pressure, they will not force me,” said the president.
More information, shortly.
