Yailin, also known as “the most viral,” has been in the spotlight after a video surfaced of her and her sister, Mami Kim, beating Dominican presenter Mey Feliz in a beauty salon in Santo Domingo. The incident has caused a stir on social media and the Dominican singer has responded exclusively to People en Español.
“Our lawyers are reviewing all the information that has come out in the media regarding this terrible situation that should never have happened with our client,” said Vladimir Gómez, publicist for Yailin. “We regret that there is an unreal image of a human being like Yailin, who with his short experience of life, try to move on despite the bumps you may have because of any stone along the way.”
Yailin, who is the mother of a baby, remains focused on her career. She will perform alongside Shadow Blow at the Heat Latin Music Awards.
Cattleya’s Mother and Ex-Wife of Anuel AA
Cattleya, Yailin’s mother and ex-wife of Puerto Rican ragpicker Anuel AA, has been in the eye of the hurricane after the video of her daughter surfaced. “We will be addressing the issue publicly with the responsibility that is due to this situation of our artist,” added Gómez.
The investigation of the case is still underway and it is not known if it will go to trial. For now, Yailin is continuing to pursue her music career while dealing with this difficult situation.
