Apple’s own virtual reality glasses We already knew he was working on it. However, according to a new report, the upcoming Hybrid Glasses will need to be connected to an Apple device to take advantage of all the features available on the device.
The Information claims that the Virtual Reality Glasses are designed to be able to connect with an iPhone or another Apple device, according to a new report published by the company.
The reason the Virtual Reality Glasses need another product in the Apple ecosystem is because the glasses use proprietary 5-nanometer chips that Apple recently introduced.
The glasses will have a unique CPU and GPU, so it looks like we will be able to use some features of the glasses without connecting another Apple device to the glasses. In addition, the 5nm chips are said to offer more powerful wireless data transmission, video compression and extraction, and energy efficiency features.
In addition to a VR/AR glasses, Apple is also working on an AR smart glasses that it aims to launch in 2023.
