Russian high school students have won two gold and two silver medals in the 13th edition of the International Mathematics Olympiad Romanian Master of Mathematics, which takes place every year in Bucharest, Romania, informs the Russian Ministry of Education.
135 young people from 22 countries attended the event, in which pre-university students participated. The first place in the teams section of the medal table was shared by representatives of Russia and China, followed by Poland, the USA and South Korea.
The competition lasts two days and consists of two rounds with three tasks each that must be solved either individually or in groups over the course of four and a half hours.
