Feid, whose real name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, was born in Medellín, Colombia, on August 19, 1992. Over the years, he has become a prominent figure in the Colombian music scene.

The 31-year-old musician began his career as a songwriter and producer. He has worked with renowned artists like J Balvin, Christina Aguilera, Nicky Jam, and many more. Despite his success behind the scenes, Feid felt the urge to pursue a career as a singer.

Feid’s music is heavily influenced by the beats of the early 2000s. Growing up in the ’90s, he was inspired by the legendary rapper Notorious B.I.G., whom he cites as his favorite in a recent Complex interview. Being Latino, reggaeton artists like Yandel also played a significant role in shaping his musical style.

Feid has an alter ego named Ferxxo, which gained prominence with the release of “Que Raro” featuring J Balvin. The song climbed the Billboard charts, marking a breakthrough moment for him.

Since then, Feid, who is in a relationship with fellow Colombian artist Karol G, has released several albums. These include “Así Como Suena,” “19,” “FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R),” “BAHÍA DUCATI,” “INTER SHIBUTA – LA MAFIA,” and “FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS FERXXO TE PIRATEAMOS EL ÁLBUM”—an album that was leaked before its official release. His other works include “MOR, No Le Temas a La Oscuridad” and “FERXXOCALIPSIS.” Recently, he collaborated with Yandel on an album titled “MANIFESTING 20-05 -EP.”

Feid has also embarked on multiple tours. Earlier in his career, he performed in small venues, gradually moving up to arenas. This year, in April, he kicked off his “FERXXOCALIPSIS” tour across the United States, starting in Seattle. The tour featured performances of his popular hits like “Bubalu” with Rema, “Luna” with ATL Jacob, “El Cielo” with Sky Rompiendo and Mike Towers, and “Classy” with Young Miko. The tour included surprise appearances by artists such as Ryan Castro, Arcangel, and Yandel, delighting fans who illuminated the arenas in Feid’s signature color, green.

The tour’s grand finale will take place on July 6 in Miami, where Feid will perform at Hard Rock Stadium, his first stadium performance. The stadium has a seating capacity of up to 65,326, promising a memorable end to his tour.

Beyond his tour, Feid recently achieved a milestone by inaugurating the 2024 Copa America. He energized fans at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 20 with his vibrant urban beats before the first match commenced. Adding to his list of accomplishments, he was featured as Billboard’s cover story in March 2023.
