Laura Carmichael and Michelle Dockery are exceptionally close. In September 2023, Laura took on the role of bridesmaid at Michelle’s wedding to Jasper Waller-Bridge. Captured leaving St. Nicholas’ Church in Chiswick, Laura was seen holding up Michelle’s train, exemplifying their strong friendship.

Harry Hadden-Paton recently had a delightful reunion with three of his Downton co-stars at a screening of his new film, Twisters. Hugh Bonneville shared a heartwarming photo on Instagram featuring himself, Michelle Dockery, and Allen Leech, noting that they had made a “Downton family outing” to support Harry.

Joanne Froggatt expressed her admiration for Imelda Staunton, who played Lady Maud Bagshaw, in August. She recounted watching Imelda perform in a new West End production of Hello Dolly, giving her co-star a glowing review.

“This was utterly magical! Dame Imelda Staunton is pitch perfect; as always, she’s so incredible it brought a tear to my eye,” noted Joanne. “Highly recommend if you can manage to get a ticket!”

Allen Leech has been full of praise for Michelle Dockery and Michael Fox. Celebrating the release of Michelle’s new single, Calming Storm, Allen promoted it enthusiastically on his Instagram account.

“It’s only two of my favorite people who just happen to have the most wonderful voices, songwriting abilities, can play loads of instruments, really good dancers…” Allen began.

“Well, Michelle is a really good dancer…and Michael, Michael is a really strong swimmer!” In another part of the post, Allen added: “But this song is beautiful!”
