Elena Flores, 8, wants so badly to see Taylor Swift in concert that she started a lemonade stand. With it, she raised over $3,000.

Eight-year-old Philadelphia girl Elena Flores is a huge Taylor Swift fan but never had the chance to see that pop star perform live in concert.

After missing last year’s Taylor Swift performances in Philadelphia, she decided she had to see Swift before the Eras Tour ends this December.

Knowing how expensive and hard to get Taylor Swift concert tickets often are, she had to find a way to raise the money.

Determined, Elena asked her parents, Chelsea and William, if she could run a lemonade stand during the summer to try and raise money to get to Swift’s Miami show in October, writes Victor Fiorillo for Philadelphia Magazine.

She first set up her lemonade stand in her Pennsport neighborhood before setting up shop in Rittenhouse Square and outside Citizens Bank Park during Phillies games.

In 17 days, she made more than $3,000.

“Some people didn’t even want lemonade,” said her mom. “They’d just give her donations. One person even gave her $100. Other people were giving her $50 tips. It was crazy.”

After receiving an alert about available tickets to Swift’s London concert in Wembley Stadium, the family decided to snag those tickets and go on a weeklong trip to London and Paris rather than waiting for the Miami concert.
