9 New Rock & Metal Tours Announced This Week

The new week brings exciting news for rock and metal fans, with nine fresh tours announced, numerous rock events, a new festival debut, and added artists for the ShipRocked Cruise.

Before 2025 arrives, Daughtry is hitting the road with Sleep Theory and Devour the Day. Additionally, Better Lovers, featuring ex-Dillinger Escape Plan singer Greg Puciato, and Butcher Babies, now touring without Carla Harvey, have announced new dates. Butcher Babies’ tour will also feature DED, Dropout Kings, and Fox Lake.

The ShipRocked Cruise lineup has expanded, the Bowl for Ronnie benefit has a date, and the Women Who Rock concert has a headliner. Plus, Heavy Chicago is set to return for its second year. Here are all the new tour, festival, and special event announcements.

Moreover, the Bowl for Ronnie, the annual celebrity bowling event and fundraiser for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, is slated for Thursday, Nov. 14. Host Eddie Trunk will welcome a lineup of rock stars at the Pinz Bowling Alley in Studio City, California, to be announced soon.

Heavy Chicago returns for another year at the Avondale Music Hall, Chicago, from Nov. 1-3. The event’s lineup includes Bongripper, Earth Crisis, and Cynic as headliners, supported by Wraith, Avernus, Motherless, Jasta and the Legions of Doom, Earth Burner, The Crosses, Toxic Holocaust, Profanatica, The Skull, and Trouble.

The 2025 ShipRocked Cruise has added Jinjer, The Glorious Sons, DED, and Rivals to its lineup. Already notable with Parkway Drive, Hollywood Undead, Nothing More, and The Struts, the cruise will depart Miami on Jan. 19, stopping in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas, returning stateside on Jan. 25.

Melissa Etheridge is the headliner for the 2024 Women Who Rock benefit concert, set for Aug. 28 at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE.

Lastly, The Barbarians of California, the new collaboration between AWOLNATION’s Aaron Bruno and Tinfed’s Eric Stenman, will debut live on Oct. 19 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California. Their debut album, “And Now I’m Just Gnashing My Teeth,” launches on Oct. 4. Supporting acts include Strife, Will Haven, and Berthold City.
