90 Day Fiancé’s Annie Suwan, 30, Pregnant with First Baby by Husband David, 54

90 Day Fiancé alumna Annie Suwan, 30, has joyously announced that she is pregnant with her first baby with her husband David Toborowsky, 54.

The couple gained fame in 2016 when their engagement was documented on the reality series, with David living in America and Annie still in her native Thailand. They eventually married in 2017 after Annie arrived in America. In recent years, they have openly discussed their attempts to conceive via in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The journey to pregnancy wasn’t without its challenges. David had previously undergone a vasectomy, and Annie suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). However, their perseverance paid off, and Annie excitedly announced on Instagram that “The test results said I’m pregnant!!!!”

Her announcement included a video where an overjoyed Annie shared, “Hi everyone! I just want to update you guys on the news because David just got an email. David, come on, tell them!” David added, “And we got a phone call—Annie is pregnant,” as Annie squealed with delight, “Thank you all for the prayers and your support has been overwhelming.”

Annie thanked everyone multiple times in the video, expressing her excitement and gratitude for the love and support they have received. “Oh, thank you everyone!” she exclaimed. “Thank you so much! Oh, thank you for your guys’ love and support. I still need your prayers! I’m so excited.”

David and Annie catapulted into the public eye during the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé, a frequently controversial show that airs on TLC. The show documents international couples as they scramble to get married before their K-1 visas expire. David faced numerous hurdles making it down the aisle with his Thai bride, including financial struggles that prevented him from affording the initial dowry her family requested.

Tensions heightened when some of David’s American friends expressed concerns about his drinking to Annie. During a particularly tough period, the couple had to live in a storage unit due to financial constraints, but they managed to overcome their difficulties and married in 2017.

Their compelling story proved to be a draw for TLC audiences, leading to their own spin-off entitled David & Annie: After the 90 Days. Annie’s desire to have children was rekindled during the series, particularly after attempting to adopt her brother and her cousin from Thailand.

David already had three adult children from a previous marriage and had undergone a vasectomy decades prior, making their road to parenthood more complicated. Additionally, Annie’s PCOS presented its own set of challenges. In late 2022, David stated that he had left the decision to have more children up to Annie. She humorously told Entertainment Tonight that she didn’t want her husband to become a “great, great, great-grandfather” before she had a baby with him.

To overcome these obstacles, Annie took medication for her condition, and David successfully had his sperm extracted in February of this year for IVF.

The couple began the IVF process in January of this year and last month traveled from their Arizona home to Los Angeles for an embryo transfer. En route back to Arizona last week, David wrote on Instagram: “Two of us flew to LA, and now we are heading back to Arizona with a plus one. Hopefully, all goes well, and we will know in 10 days to 2 weeks. This seems so surreal.”
