Aaron Rodgers Denies Rumor Ex Olivia Munn Caused Family Rift

Aaron Rodgers is reportedly countering claims that former girlfriend Olivia Munn instigated an enduring rift with his parents.

Journalist Ian O’Connor delves into the complexities of Rodgers’ relationship with his family in an upcoming book titled “Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers.” According to the book, the quarterback’s parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers, were upset by public comments made by Munn about their love life, which allegedly ignited a rift lasting for years.

An excerpt from the book, published by The Daily Mail, indicates that Rodgers’ deeply religious parents were discontented with the relationship. “Given her devout religious views, Aaron’s mother disapproved of premarital sex and was opposed to her middle child sharing a hotel room with his girlfriend even as an NFL player,” O’Connor wrote.

However, Aaron Rodgers is now disputing these claims. People magazine reported that Rodgers stated Munn “has nothing to do with all the years” of strained relations with his parents. Rodgers and Munn began dating in 2014 but ended their relationship in 2017.

A source close to Munn told People that it was right of Rodgers to “shut down” the rumors. “It’s been almost a decade of these ridiculous rumors, and I know she really appreciates Aaron finally shutting it down,” the source remarked. The source added, “The Rodgers family has a lot going on, and she hopes they find some peace.”
