AC/DC’s Final Power Up 2024 Tour Show: Set List and Video Highlights

AC/DC wrapped up their Power Up European tour with a final show at Dublin’s Croke Park on Saturday, marking the end of their first extended trek in eight years.

The Aussie rock legends played a 21-song setlist, sticking to the lineup they’ve primarily used throughout the tour. They kicked off with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” and “Back in Black” before diving into “Demon Fire” from their 2020 album, Power Up.

The setlist was packed with classics such as “Hells Bells,” “Shoot to Thrill,” “Highway to Hell,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Train,” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.” The concert concluded with an encore featuring “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).” The Dublin crowd was treated to a magnificent blend of new tracks and timeless hits that showcased the band’s legendary status.

The Power Up tour is significant as it marks the band’s return to extensive touring since the Rock or Bust tour in 2016. That tour saw its own set of challenges, most notably singer Brian Johnson stepping down due to severe hearing loss, with Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose stepping in for nearly two dozen shows.

By 2020, Johnson was back for the Power Up album but his ability to tour was uncertain. AC/DC made their much-anticipated return to live performances in late 2023 at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California. Despite lingering doubts, especially about Johnson’s stamina at 76 years old, the band dispelled those concerns by launching the Power Up tour in May.

Fans were captivated by AC/DC’s high-energy performances, proving that they still had what it takes to deliver electrifying rock shows. The Croke Park finale was a testament to their unyielding spirit and enduring appeal.
