AC/DC’s Final Show of Power Up 2024 Tour: Setlist and Video Highlights

AC/DC wrapped up their 24th and final show of the Power Up European tour on Saturday night at Dublin’s Croke Park. This marked the end of their first extended tour in eight years.

The set list for the show consisted of 21 songs, consistent with the line-up they’ve used for most of the Power Up tour dates. The rock legends kicked off the night with “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” and “Back in Black,” before transitioning to “Demon Fire” from their 2020 album, Power Up. Throughout the evening, they treated fans to classics spanning their illustrious career, including “Hells Bells,” “Shoot to Thrill,” “Highway to Hell,” “Let There Be Rock,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Train,” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.” They closed the night with an encore featuring “T.N.T.” and “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You).”

The Power Up tour held significant importance for AC/DC. It was their first extensive tour since the Rock or Bust tour in 2016, which faced numerous challenges. During that tour, lead vocalist Brian Johnson had to leave due to severe hearing loss, and Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose stepped in to sing for nearly two dozen shows.

Four years later, Johnson made his much-anticipated return for the Power Up album, though there was uncertainty about his capacity to tour, given his health concerns. AC/DC marked their return to the stage in late 2023 at the Power Trip festival in Indio, California. Despite lingering questions about their ability to endure a rigorous tour schedule, particularly for the 76-year-old Johnson, the band allayed all doubts when they began the Power Up trek in May.
