‘AGT’ Unveils All 44 Acts Competing in Live Shows

America’s Got Talent Season 19 will resume after the Paris Olympics conclude, kicking off the live rounds with some intriguing changes. Alongside the introduction of new golden buzzers, there will be 44 acts competing for the audience’s votes.

The live shows are scheduled to start post-Olympics, beginning with four weeks of quarterfinals. Each week, 11 acts will perform, and only three will progress to the next stage. By the end of these four weeks, 12 acts, all chosen by fans, will advance to the semifinals.

Judges will have the opportunity to use their golden buzzers again during the quarterfinals. This year, they were given two golden buzzers each during the auditions, doubling from last year. Now, they will have a third golden buzzer to send contestants directly to the finals. While some fans are not pleased with this change, golden buzzers remain some of the most thrilling and touching moments of the show.

In the semifinals, the 12 acts that advanced through fan votes will compete again. Out of these, six will move forward to the finals, joined by four acts awarded golden buzzers by the judges. The grand finale will feature these 10 contestants and will run from September 17 to September 24.

So far, nine golden buzzers have been awarded this season. Howie Mandel gave his to the dance group Brent Street and singer Reid Wilson. Heidi Klum chose singers Richard Goodall and Pranysqa Mishra. Sofia Vergara selected the dance group Legion Dance and the variety act Schumacher. Simon Cowell awarded his golden buzzers to singer Liv Warfield and drone performers Sky Element. Terry Crews used his to advance comedian Learnmore Jonasi.

Aside from these golden buzzer recipients, several other contestants will also be competing in the live rounds. The list of singers includes Alex Sampson, Ashes & Arrows, Biko’s Manna, Brooke Bailey, Dee Dee Simon, Flewnt & Inkabee, Journeyy, L6, Maya Neelakantan, Menudo, Nina, Oscar Stembridge, Richard Goodall, Stephanie Rainey, and The Reklaws.

Acrobatic acts moving forward include AIRFOOTWORKS, Hakuna Matata Acrobats, and Illya and Anastasia. Dance groups ready to take the stage are Bboy Samuka, Hypers Kids Africa, Los Osos High School, and Sabrina.

The variety of acts doesn’t stop there. Additional performers include Arshiya (contortion), Ashlee Montague (extreme ballet), Attraction Juniors (shadow performance), Erica Rhodes (comedian), Jelly Boy the Clown (sideshow act), Jonathan Burns (magician), Phillip Lewis (baton act), Rhythm & Roni (dog act), Sam Huang (magician), Solange Kardinaly (quick change act), TONIKAKU (variety act), and Young-Min (magician).
