Alison Brie Cast as Evil-Lyn in ‘Masters of the Universe’ Movie
Alison Brie has joined the star-studded cast of the live-action adaptation of “Masters of the Universe” from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films.
Brie will take on the role of Evil-Lyn, alongside Nicholas Galitzine, who will play He-Man, and Camila Mendes, who has been cast as Teela.
The film is set to be directed by Travis Knight, known for his work on “Kubo and the Two Strings” and “Bumblebee.” Chris Butler is writing the screenplay, taking over from initial drafts by David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee. Production is being handled by Mattel Films’ Robbie Brenner, Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch from Escape Artists.
While specifics of the film’s plot remain confidential, it has been confirmed that the movie will be released exclusively in theaters worldwide on June 5, 2026.
