Amber from ‘7 Little Johnstons’ Celebrates Granddaughter Leighton’s Milestone

Judging by her Instagram grid, 7 Little Johnstons star Amber Johnston, 45, is proudly in her grandma era. And recently, she celebrated her baby granddaughter Leighton’s major milestone with an adorable new photo.

On Tuesday, Aug. 20, Amber took to Instagram with a picture update for her followers.

“A lot going on in the Johnston house, but we cannot forget this lil one turned 9 months! #beinglolliandboppaisthebest,” she captioned the post.

In the snap, Leighton sat wide-eyed on a kitchen floor while holding a plastic container. The baby girl wore a pink bodysuit with her name printed on the front. Lids, a bowl and a cup surrounded her, and a cabinet door was open nearby.

Amber’s husband, Trent Johnston, 48, seems to adore the grandparent stage of life as well. On Aug. 14, he shared a carousel of photos via Instagram featuring Leighton.

“Feeding deer with Daddy and Boppa and trail riding! #team7lj,” Trent captioned his update.

The main image showed the doting grandpa taking a selfie while his baby granddaughter napped peacefully on his lap. Another shot featured Leighton grabbing onto a feed bin while Trent held her.

Amber and Trent’s eldest daughter, Liz Johnston, 22, and her boyfriend, Brice Bolden, welcomed Leighton, their first child, in November 2023. Since then, TLC fans have been delighted to see regular photo and video updates from Liz, Amber, and Trent on social media. (Liz recently posted her own tribute for Leighton as she turned 9 months old.)

Hopefully, they will continue sharing more sweet snaps as Leighton keeps growing!
