A cat and mouse love story has never sounded so good.

On Friday, August 9, Roc Nation’s Ambré delivered a six-chapter rhythmic novel called I Do This S—t In My Sleep about chasing someone special. As her angelic vocals and witty one-liners inch her closer to her prize, she connects with Alex Isley for “You Don’t Know” and Treety for “Outside.” Not to mention, she pulls inspiration from R&B legends Coko, Lelee and Tamara for “SWV” and Robin Thicke’s iconic hit, “Lost Without You.”

What takes the sensual soundscapes and hypnotic vocals of I Do This S—t In My Sleep to the next level is the ease with which the New Orleans native lays her heart on the track with each verse. Remarkably transparent with her emotions, Ambré finds a way to relate to millions with love songs that often feel like intimate diary entries. As hard as it may be to believe, this may just be the tip of the iceberg in terms of what she plans to deliver in the weeks and months to come.

“This is not an album…I didn’t spend months working on these songs. These are a collection of demos,” Ambré said about the EP.

“But if you like them then you’ll love what’s to come…because I’m working on the greatest album of all time.”
