Sam explained that their dog’s life was taken “way too early and it sucks that the person who did this still hasn’t said anything about the situation.” They added that the driver didn’t slow down or even try to swerve to avoid the accident. Sam questioned what the driver would have done if it had been a child instead of a dog.

“Almost doesn’t feel like an accident which makes grieving harder because I can’t help but question how someone could be not only so reckless on the road but careless as well,” Sam wrote. “I miss my sweet boy like crazy.”
