Angelina Jolie Stuns in Figure-Skimming Dress, Avoids Brad Pitt Run-In

Angelina Jolie made a significant impact at the Venice Film Festival last week, where she received an eight-minute standing ovation for her portrayal of Maria Callas.

However, the star’s promotional tour continues, with her next appearance at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

The Academy Award-winning actress, leading the cast of a Netflix project already generating Oscar buzz for next year, looked stunning at the movie event. She impressed in the fashion department as she posed for official photos.

Angelina dazzled in a cosy knit dress of neutral stone color. The dress featured a bolero-style top with billowing sleeves, giving it a chic coordinated effect.

Complementing the neutral look, Angelina, 49, finished her ensemble with brown pointed court heels featuring a large buckle on the toe. She also wore oversized shades, adding a touch of movie-star glamour, while her honey-hued hair fell naturally over her shoulders.

At the event, Angelina was all smiles, joining fellow actors and creatives, including Naomi Watts, a fellow Academy Award nominee. Naomi wore baggy jeans and a white strapless top, accompanied by her furry friend in a cross-body sling.

Angelina left Venice, Italy, and headed back to the United States to attend the festival in Colorado. Her timely departure from Europe prevented a possible run-in with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, who made his appearance at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday with his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.

Brad, 60, and Ines, 34, were all smiles at the glitzy event, promoting Brad’s latest film, “Wolfs,” alongside close friend George Clooney.

A potential encounter with Brad would likely have been uncomfortable for Angelina, given their ongoing legal battles. Angelina recently shared with the Hollywood Reporter that the legal disputes have kept her in Los Angeles. “I have to be here because of the divorce. But as soon as [twins Vivienne and Knox] are 18, I’ll be able to leave,” she stated.

In the same interview, she was asked about whom she would call in the middle of the night for support. “I don’t really have those kinds of relationships,” she said, attributing it to losing her parent young and her work. “Maybe it’s being somebody who’s been betrayed a lot.”

“I don’t have a lot of those warm, close relationships that I lean on. But I have a few, and a few is enough,” she added.

Angelina and Brad’s legal battles over their divorce and shared assets have been ongoing for several years, despite the initial filing in 2016 and being declared legally single in 2019.
