Antonio Brown recently shared a controversial stance on the use of condoms during a guest appearance on the Aunt-Tea Podcast with Tokyo Toni, Tia Kemp, and Karlissa Saffold.
During the podcast, Brown expressed his disregard for using condoms, claiming that he doesn’t feel it counts as a sexual interaction. His remark came after he made sexually charged comments towards Toni, stating his intentions to engage in intercourse without protection.
One of the podcast hosts emphasized the importance of safe sex and wearing condoms, which Brown rejected. He explained, “I feel like if I hit you with a condom, I didn’t hit you,” shocking his fellow speakers. Toni, particularly, was taken aback and suggested that Brown’s behavior might be related to the aftermath of his football career.
Undeterred by the reactions, Brown reiterated his intention to have unprotected sex, telling Toni, “I’m hitting you bare. I’m hitting you like I was born.”
The podcast audience reacted strongly to Brown’s statements, criticizing them as irresponsible and highlighting the ongoing issue of STDs and STIs in the country. One audience member commented online, “This is why 80% of the population got herpes.”
Another social media user pointed out a potential double standard, stating, “Interesting because if a woman said this and said it doesn’t count as a body, people would call her all types of derogatory names.”
Brown’s perspective on condoms is less surprising when considering his personal life; he has fathered multiple children, the most recent being his son Ace, born earlier this summer to model Cydney Moreau.
