Anya Taylor-Joy Leads Netflix Series Adaptation of ‘How to Kill Your Family’

Anya Taylor-Joy is set to lead a Netflix adaptation of Bella Mackie’s How to Kill Your Family.

The Mad Max: Furiosa star will play the role of Grace Bernard, the main character in Mackie’s book.

The synopsis of the story centers around Grace, who is the overlooked child of Simon Artemis, a ruthless billionaire. After a painful rejection, she formulates a plan for revenge. The big question is: will this deadly plot take more from Grace than she’s already lost?

The series is being produced by Sid Gentle, the creators of Killing Eve. This adaptation is part of a major Netflix slate announcement at the Edinburgh TV Festival, which also includes documentaries on Take That and Victoria Beckham.

Bella Mackie, a journalist and author, will serve as an executive producer (EP) alongside Emma Moran, Sally Woodward Gentle, Lizzie Rusbridger, and Lee Morris from Sid Gentle Film. Anya Taylor-Joy will also be an EP under her production company LadyKiller.
