Arianne Zucker Secures New Role Following ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Departure

Arianne Zucker was let go from Days of Our Lives earlier this year, and her character, Nicole Walker, will make her final appearance this month. Fans won’t have to wait long, however, to see her in a new role. Here are the details on her latest project.

Nicole Walker first appeared in Salem in 1998 with aspirations of becoming a model. Over the past two decades, she’s experienced countless dramatic storylines that captivate soap opera fans. One memorable arc involved a baby switch in 2009 when she stole Sami Brady’s baby after suffering a miscarriage and claimed it as her own.

In an ironic twist 15 years later, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) switched Nicole’s baby and passed it off as her own. Nicole has recently uncovered part of the truth, but soon she will learn that Eric (Greg Vaughan) is the baby’s father, not EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). This revelation will mark Nicole Walker’s exit from the show, although the specifics of her departure remain unclear. Arianne Zucker confirmed that Nicole Walker won’t be killed off, and her final airdate is set for Monday, July 29.

After being fired from Days of Our Lives in January following a lawsuit against the soap and a former producer for alleged sexual harassment, Zucker quickly found new work. She excitedly announced on Instagram that she has landed a role in an upcoming film titled Memec. The actress shared her enthusiasm for the new project, posting photos from the set and expressing her gratitude in the caption, “I feel so fortunate to have played this delicious character! I could not have asked to be part of a better cast and crew! Thank you for making [me] feel at home!”

Regarding the new film, the IMDb page lists Chris Parnell, Jason Marsden, and Hallmark regular Kristoffer Polaha, who also directed the movie, among the cast. The film’s plot centers on “a struggling impressionist and a contract for fame taking center stage, as the battle for a good man’s soul takes the spotlight.” The release date for Memec is yet to be announced, but Zucker will likely share news about it once it becomes available.
