Recently, the world discovered through a TikTok video that Emmy-winning voice actor Nancy Cartwright, best known for voicing Bart Simpson for over 35 years, is the aunt of popstar Sabrina Carpenter. The revelation was made in response to a fan question asking if Sabrina was indeed her niece. Cartwright confirmed with a resounding “yeah, absolutely,” accompanied by a picture of her with Sabrina.

Cartwright expressed her amazement in the 17-second clip, saying, “Isn’t that amazing when you find out that somebody maybe you’ve known me for doing this little 10-year-old boy for like 35-some years… and then find out that I’m related to this superstar?” She added, “She’s pretty amazing.”

Nancy Cartwright, 66, has been voicing Bart Simpson since the longest-running animated sitcom began airing on Fox in 1989. Besides Bart, she also gives life to characters such as Maggie Simpson, Ralph Wiggum, Todd Flanders, and Nelson Muntz.

The comments under Cartwright’s video showcased the astonishment and excitement of fans. Reactions included, “Sabrina Carpenter is related to Bart Simpson, Ay, caramba!,” “Can we hear Bart sing espresso?! PLEASEEEE,” and “I love the proud Aunt vibes.”

Interestingly, voice acting talent seems to run in the family. Sabrina Carpenter, known for her role in “Girl Meets World,” also has experience in voice acting, having worked on animated series like “Phineas and Ferb” and “Milo Murphy’s Law.” Her upcoming album, “Short n’ Sweet,” is set to release on August 23.
