‘Bachelor’ Star Kelsey Anderson Apologizes After Fan Backlash

Bachelor star Kelsey Anderson has once again found herself under fire from her followers, prompting her to issue an apology on Instagram. What did she do to spark the latest controversy? Read on for all the details.

Over six million viewers watched Joey Graziadei propose to Kelsey Anderson during the Season 28 Bachelor finale. She was a fan favorite from the very beginning. But some Bachelor Nation fans soured on the couple for their behavior after their engagement.

Kelsey and Joey have capitalized on their newfound fame with multiple endorsement deals and seemingly non-stop vacations. Their refusal to return to their pre-show jobs has led fans to speculate about potential money issues.

That’s not to say that the Bachelor couple doesn’t have their share of supporters. Joey has been favored to compete on Season 33 of Dancing With The Stars. ABC is releasing the names of the cast this week, but many signs point to Joey Graziadei as a contestant.

Kelsey Anderson has further fueled the rumors with her social media content. Eagle-eyed DWTS fans on Reddit are convinced Joey is on Season 33 based solely on the ceiling tiles spotted in Kelsey’s Instagram Story content.

The official cast announcement will happen on Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 4.

Kelsey Anderson has taken criticism of her travels in stride for the most part. But she had to respond to the latest backlash from fans. According to Screen Rant, Kelsey took to her Instagram to make a “formal apology” for a recent faux pas.

The social media starlet mispronounced the name of a popular Los Angeles grocery store. Her and Joey being L.A. is further proof that he’s on DWTS this season. Apparently, Kelsey Anderson was flooded with DMs from her followers correcting her on the store’s pronunciation.

She posted a video of a not-so-heartfelt apology to offended fans. “I would just like to make a formal apology that I did not say Erewhon right, I said Erewhons and I now know that’s not how you say it. Sorry,” she joked in the video.

While she tried to remain straight-faced, the video was clearly intended as humorous. She captioned the clip, “To everyone I offended, pls accept my apology.”

What do you think of Kelsey Anderson’s non-apology? Are people too harsh on her and Joey? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
