‘Bachelorette’ Jenn Tran Confronts Ex-Fiancé Devin Strader Post-Split

Jenn Tran has openly expressed her feelings toward her ex-fiancé, Devin Strader, in a candid interview. The 26-year-old star from The Bachelorette did not hold back her sentiments during the conversation, stating, “F**k you,” as she addressed her split from the 28-year-old recipient of her final rose.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jenn shared her emotional turmoil. She remarked, “I’m kind of still processing it all. It’s been such a whirlwind. I feel so grateful for all the support I’m receiving. Honestly, it means so much to have a community of women come together for me. I feel good about what happened last night. I believe it’s the next step in my healing process.”

Jenn’s interview follows her announcement that she will be participating in the upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars, shortly after revealing that her engagement to Devin had been called off. The season finale showcased the couple returning from Hawaii, seemingly happy and looking forward to their future together after Jenn proposed before Devin had the chance to pop the question. However, things took a turn during the “After the Final Rose” discussion, where Jenn noted that Devin had grown distant after the show concluded. “From not calling or texting as much,” she told host Jesse Palmer during the live episode, “I felt like I was secondary to everything else in his life, and I didn’t understand why.”

Jenn revealed that their relationship ended in a phone call, describing a moment when Devin confessed he “didn’t love me anymore and didn’t feel the same way… He regretted getting engaged. And I didn’t know. I knew all along it was just different.” In a surprising turn, Devin later posted and subsequently deleted screenshots of their private conversations on social media in an attempt to explain his side of the breakup. During the live finale, he admitted, “I found myself falling short of those expectations in the real world. I found myself unable to meet the needs you have and deserve. I watched myself contribute to your regression, and that hurt me. You don’t deserve to compromise your standards to be happy.”

With their chapter now closed, Jenn is eager to focus on her future. She is set to compete alongside various celebrities, including Olympians Stephen Nedoroscik and Ilona Maher, in the next season of Dancing With the Stars, which is set to premiere on September 17 on both ABC and Disney+.
