Bella Thorne Flips Off Ozempic in Bikini Video on Instagram

Bella Thorne is sharing her honest feelings about Ozempic.

On her Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 20, the Infamous actress, 26, shared a video in which she revealed she’s been having body image issues lately — and she thinks Ozempic is to blame.

“So, I haven’t been feeling good about my body for a while,” she began in a video clip while wearing a blue leopard-print bikini. “And especially with everybody on Ozempic, it’s like setting all these crazy beauty standards that nobody can keep up with unless you’re on Ozempic.”

Ozempic, a drug used to treat type 2 diabetes, is a hot topic in the entertainment industry as people are using it and other semaglutide drugs that affect satiety to help them lose weight.

Thorne then shared details about the recent exercising she’s been doing to help herself feel better about her body.

“I have swam every day and I have sweat out everything possible and I have walked everywhere,” she said. “And, I’m finally feeling good about myself, Okay?”

“I’m finally feeling good, so Ozempic, you can…” Thorne said before flipping off the camera and ending her phrase with, “…off.”

Thorne regularly speaks to her followers about health issues on social media and opened up about her mental health on Instagram in February.

“I’m doing a mental health check-in,” the Shake It Up alum began the video. “My mental health is not good. On a scale of one to crying all night, I’m at a 10.”

“It’s important to make these videos because when we go on social media, we see all this happiness, amazing looks, hair, makeup and everything,” she continued. “Even making this list is making me more depressed. But I guess what I’m trying to say is it’s okay to be depressed.”

“Mental health is important, and often we prioritize everything else in our lives over it, but it eventually catches up with us,” Thorne captioned the video. “So, don’t end up like me. Do the mental health check-ins that are needed before you reach this point.”

“Remember to make space for your tears and thoughts; they are incredibly important. Life isn’t always perfect – in fact, most of the time, it’s not. And I guess that’s okay too,” she concluded.
