Ben Affleck Visits Ex Jennifer Garner’s Home Amid J.Lo Split Rumors

Ben Affleck was seen paying a visit to his ex, Jennifer Garner’s home in Los Angeles on Sunday, amidst rumors of marital issues with his current wife, Jennifer Lopez.

The Oscar-winning actor, aged 51, was recently observed moving his belongings out of the $60M mansion he shares with Lopez, aged 54. Affleck was seen stepping out of a sleek vehicle, carrying a book and a can of Diet Coke. He chose a casual outfit, donning denim jeans and a short-sleeved gray shirt with “Speed Motors Unlimited” printed on it, along with Nike sneakers.

Jennifer Garner, aged 51, was also spotted that day after a coffee run. She opted for black leggings and a blue short-sleeved shirt, completing her look with white sneakers and a sleek ponytail. Garner accessorized with stylish shades to fend off the bright sunshine.

Affleck and Garner, who were married from 2005 until their divorce was finalized in 2018, share three children: Violet, 18, Finn (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12.

This visit comes amidst swirling rumors of divorce between Affleck and Lopez, who got married in July 2022. Reports suggest that the couple is living separately; Lopez remains in their $60 million mansion while Affleck stays at a rental property in Brentwood. A source recently informed People that Affleck has “moved his things out” of their marital home and has been residing at the Brentwood rental for about two months.

“Ben seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids,” the insider added.

Lopez, who recently returned from a solo trip to Italy, was seen enjoying time with friends on a boat in Positano. She also made an appearance during Paris Fashion Week at the Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 runway show, where she wore a one-shoulder tan dress complemented by gold heels and elbow-length black gloves. After returning to California, Lopez was seen having lunch with her child Emme, 16, in Beverly Hills, noticeably without Affleck.

Amid the divorce rumors, Affleck and Lopez listed their Beverly Hills mansion for $65M in early June. Although living separately, Lopez is slated to star in two upcoming films for Affleck and Matt Damon’s production company, titled “Unstoppable” and “Kiss Of The Spider Woman.”

A source recently told DailyMail.com that Lopez is at her wit’s end trying to make the marriage work. The insider stated that Lopez feels she can no longer save the relationship as Affleck’s grumpy and negative attitude — likened to Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street — had taken a toll.

Despite the sadness over the end of her marriage, Lopez is focusing on staying active, spending time with her twins Max and Emme, and making plans for 2025, including resuming her “This Is Me… Live” tour next summer when she turns 56. She had previously canceled the 2024 tour to “recollect herself.”

“She is excited about going on tour next year when her personal life is on calmer ground, and she can connect with her fans,” the source said. “She is also shocked by the bad press she has been getting, which she believes is not fair.”

A friend close to Lopez mentioned that Affleck is a great guy but often grumpy, and that the world saw this during events like the Grammys, where he appeared moodily. The friend added, “He’s a wonderful father, though.”

Despite the end of their nuptials, Lopez is determined to move forward. She is living alone now, which is a significant change for her and the kids. “Of course Jenny is sad; she loves Ben, but they are just too different,” the pal continued, explaining that there was no give and take, and their lives were on separate tracks.

Meanwhile, Lopez has secured a new deal with Netflix through her company Nuyorican, adapting Emily Henry’s novel “Happy Place” into a series. The novel follows Harriet and Wyn, a couple who split up but keep their breakup a secret from their friends, ending up sharing a bedroom during an annual getaway while pretending they are still together. Lopez will serve as a producer on the series alongside Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina.
