Big Sean Parts Ways with Roc Nation After 10 Years

Big Sean has just secured a new management deal in anticipation of his highly awaited sixth studio album. After nearly ten years of being managed by Roc Nation, the rapper has now teamed up with Brandon Silverstein’s S10 management company.

S10, which started in 2017, is relatively new but already making waves. It was founded by Silverstein as a comprehensive management, music publishing, record label, TV & film, and investment company, in partnership with Roc Nation.

Expressing his enthusiasm about the new partnership, the rapper told Billboard, “Brandon shares the vision, understands where I’m headed, and I’m incredibly excited to work with him and the S10 team.”

Big Sean is now the third artist to sign with Silverstein’s S10, joining the ranks of Myke Towers and Madison Bailey.

Commenting on this new collaboration, Silverstein said, “Big Sean is an incredible talent who, even after topping charts, breaking records, winning awards and headlining across the world, is just getting started. I can’t wait for fans to hear the new music.” His upcoming project, Better Me Than You, will be the rapper’s first since Detroit 2, which came out in 2022.

Mark your calendars for Better Me Than You, which drops everywhere on Friday, August 9.
