Bill Belichick’s 23-year-old girlfriend breaks silence after he joins Instagram

Bill Belichick’s 23-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, has finally spoken out about her relationship with the former New England Patriots head coach. Hudson, who first met 72-year-old Belichick on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021, has remained silent both publicly and on social media since their romance was revealed over the summer.

However, after Belichick joined Instagram on Wednesday, the competitive cheerleader and entrepreneur decided to break her silence by welcoming him to the platform and jokingly referring to him as a “Goat.” Alongside a photo of them petting a goat at the Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Jordon wrote, “This is my formal petition for @BillBelichick to change his handle to @BillyGoat!!” She added, “Welcome to the ‘Gram, Billy!!!!”

Belichick responded by sharing her post on his story, commenting, “I am going to leave the ‘Billy-Goating’ to @bill.t.goat at @usnavalacademy.”

The relationship between Hudson and Belichick, who has a nearly 50-year age gap, has stirred controversy since it became public earlier this summer. The pair first connected on a flight three years ago and stayed in touch while discussing Jordon’s schoolwork and cheerleading routines. Sparks began to fly when Belichick split from longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday in 2023. Over the past year, the couple has been spotted in public numerous times, making their relationship official.

Initially keeping their romance low-key, Belichick and Hudson were seen together in Croatia and at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony on June 12. The age gap between the eight-time Super Bowl winner and Hudson has drawn significant public attention.

During their first encounter on a flight to Florida, Belichick even autographed Hudson’s notebook with, “Jordon, Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels!” He signed his name and included abbreviations of his championship seasons. By early 2024, the couple had become “inseparable,” with Hudson reportedly moving into his home in Hingham, Massachusetts just a few months after his split from Holliday.

Explaining his initial reluctance toward social media, Belichick humorously referred to Instagram as “Instaface” on ESPN’s Pat McAfee show. He admitted that his career in the NFL allowed him numerous opportunities to express himself publicly at a moment’s notice, but that circumstances have changed. Now, he decided to utilize social media platforms to connect directly with fans and the public.

Belichick’s first post came with a note explaining his new venture into social media. “During my career in the NFL, I had built-in opportunities to express myself at a moment’s notice,” he said. “The circumstances are different now. So, here I am. I am (surprisingly) thrilled to announce my decision to utilize social media platforms with the intention of connecting directly with fans and the public. This debut was inconceivable a few months ago, but exciting now!!”

Within just a few hours, Belichick had amassed tens of thousands of followers, quickly building a significant social media presence.
