‘BIP’ Stars Becca Kufrin & Thomas Jacobs Hint at TV Comeback

It’s amazing to think that Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs ever had doubts about their relationship. The couple met during the filming of Season 7 of Bachelor In Paradise but parted ways before the season concluded. However, they rekindled their romance post-filming, and their relationship has been a whirlwind ever since.

In May 2022, they announced their engagement but encountered a small setback on their journey to the altar. The couple revealed in April 2023 that they were expecting their first child.

Their son, Benny, will turn one in late September. In a recent interview with US Weekly, Becca shared that they are planning a duck-themed birthday party for Benny. She humorously noted that before becoming a mom, she thought first birthday parties were silly because the baby wouldn’t remember them. “After I had Benny, Thomas and I spoiled him a little too much,” she admitted.

The Bachelor In Paradise couple had a private wedding a few weeks after their son’s birth, with plans for another wedding ceremony in the future. For now, their priority is settling down in San Diego, California.

Earlier this year, Thomas Jacobs and Becca Kufrin purchased a house and are currently in the process of renovating it, although it hasn’t been entirely smooth. “I’m not gonna lie. I hate the renovation process. Thomas loves it much more. I’ve gotten better,” she confessed.

Becca Kufrin stepped down as co-host of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2023, with Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt taking over. Thomas Jacobs’ reaction suggested that the decision might not have been entirely hers. Since then, the couple seems to have distanced themselves from the Bachelor franchise, focusing more on their expanding family. They even missed Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner’s wedding to Theresa Nist.

Despite their departure from the Bachelor universe, Becca and Thomas may be gearing up for a return to TV—though not in the dating show realm. You might see them on HGTV soon. “We’ve actually been talking to some producers for different shows. We’ve been in talks with some people about potentially doing something like that,” Becca revealed about the possibility of a home renovation show.
