Blake Lively Crashes Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s ‘It Ends With Us’ Date

Ryan Reynolds brought some A-list company to support his wife Blake Lively at the premiere of her new movie, “It Ends With Us.”

The couple was joined by his “Deadpool & Wolverine” co-star Hugh Jackman for the New York City red carpet event held at the AMC Lincoln Square theater on Tuesday.

Jackman and Reynolds both sported unbuttoned, white collared shirts under neutral suit jackets, while Lively dazzled in a stunning rainbow jewel-toned Versace dress. This was the same dress Britney Spears famously wore in 2002 for the fashion house’s spring/summer women’s 2003 collection.

On the same day, Reynolds shared a playful prank he pulled on his wife’s “It Ends With Us” co-star, Brandon Sklenar. In an Instagram video, Reynolds sneaks into an interview room to comically question Sklenar about his intentions with Lively.

“It’s not every day the husband gets to interview his wife’s love interest in a film,” Reynolds quipped, before adding a humorous twist with the involvement of his mom. “It’s kind of crazy.”

Reynolds praised Sklenar in the post accompanying the video. “What a sport you are, Brandon! You really are spectacular in ‘It Ends With Us.’ Total movie star,” Reynolds wrote. “Even if you are trying to steal Blake Lively away from Tam Tam’s Little Gummy Bear, at least you’re super talented, kind and collaborative. Not to mention, an incredible father to me.”

Reynolds’ unique promotional antics for his wife’s movie seem to fit well with his “Deadpool” style, leaving many curious about how Lively might get her playful revenge.

“It Ends With Us” also features performances by Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, and director Justin Baldoni. The film is set to hit theaters on August 9.
