Blake Lively & Gigi Hadid Stun in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Outfits at Premiere

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds may headline Deadpool & Wolverine, but Blake Lively and Gigi Hadid were the real showstoppers at the New York City premiere. The event, held on Monday, July 22, saw the two friends don character-inspired outfits, providing a memorable fashion moment on the red carpet.

Blake Lively, paying tribute to her husband Ryan Reynolds’ character Deadpool, sported a shiny red jumpsuit with her hair slicked back into a tall ponytail. In a complementary move, Gigi Hadid channeled Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine with a strapless yellow tube top and matching knee-length skirt. She completed the look with black stilettos, a brown belt, and an eye-catching yellow purse.

During his promotional rounds for the movie, Ryan Reynolds, aged 47, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. When asked by Jimmy Fallon if he would consider making a fourth Deadpool film, Ryan humorously responded, “Oh god, no. … My wife and children will divorce me.”

Ryan added with a chuckle, “Jimmy, I have no prenup with any of them. I will be capital-B broke, and in turn probably then doing Deadpool 4 because I need the money.”

Married since 2012, Ryan and Blake share four children: James, Inez, Betty, and their fourth child, Olin—a name Ryan revealed during the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere at the David H. Koch Theater.

In an emotional moment at the event, Ryan acknowledged his family while addressing the crowd. “I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he said. “I want to thank my kids, James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing — that is, the contents of this movie — that happens in your wondrous life.”

Ryan and Blake have a history of playfully teasing each other in public, contributing to their reputation as a fun-loving couple. Despite recent unfounded divorce rumors, their bond remains strong. Blake addressed the speculation directly on Instagram when a fan commented on one of her posts, saying, “You and Ryan need to post more of each other. There were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple.” Blake succinctly responded, “Haha they wish.”
