Blake Lively’s Epic Reaction to Ryan Reynolds’ Smoldering Physique Photo

Ryan Reynolds is flaunting one of the most enviable physiques in Hollywood, thanks to his rigorous Marvel-inspired training regimen for the Deadpool movies. The 47-year-old Canadian-American actor is currently on an international tour with his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star and friend Hugh Jackman, along with their director Shawn Levy.

Throughout the trip, the two stars have been sharing regular updates, and a recent photo posted by Hugh Jackman caused quite a stir among their fans, including Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively. The 55-year-old Australian actor sneakily snapped a picture of Reynolds wearing a white vest and jeans, flaunting his impressive biceps. Reynolds could be seen pointing a finger at Jackman upon noticing the camera.

Jackman humorously captioned the photo: “‘You want me to put this away?’ — Ryan Reynolds, co-star, mouth breather, [expletive].” This elicited a cheeky response from Lively, who commented: “My thirst has been trapped.”

Not one to miss a beat, Reynolds added his own comment: “This photo is from my private collection. How dare you?” Fans were quick to admire Reynolds as well, though many also noticed the matching Deadpool-red and Wolverine-yellow purses in the background.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are set to dazzle audiences later this month when Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26. This will be the first film featuring Deadpool as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Reynolds, Jackman, and Levy discussed the strong friendship they forged on the set of Deadpool 3. The team credited the fun and collaborative atmosphere they created, which even included a ping-pong table gifted by Lively.

Shawn Levy expressed how their close bond contributed to the film’s success, stating, “This friendship between the three of us also made the movie better. You’re not embarrassed to try weird, dumb [expletive]. Some of it is going to fail. But if you’re comfortable failing in front of your buddies, you’re also going to be comfortable trying stuff that will be inspired.”

Reynolds and Jackman revealed that their off-screen time often involved epic ping-pong matches. Reynolds added, “Speaking of Blake, that’s the real reason these ping-pong photos came about. She and I have a bunch of these prints of actors playing it on their sets.”

He elaborated on their collection, saying, “We’ve got Newman and Redford in Durango, Mexico, during the shooting of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. We’ve got Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda, I think in the ’30s. We have Olivia de Havilland playing ping-pong, Ronald Reagan and Jane Wyman playing. Joan Crawford. So Blake sent the ping-pong table to Pinewood Studios.”

Levy cherished these moments too, commenting, “It’s why those ping-pong photos are our personal favorites. For the three of us, those photos are treasures. They captured the spirit of this shoot. It was very hard work, but it was fun every day because we were doing it with buddies.”
