Blake Shelton Announces Las Vegas Residency

Country singer Blake Shelton has announced a new residency at The Colosseum in Las Vegas starting in February 2025. “If you’re going to have a stake in Las Vegas, you got to do a residency if you’re an artist,” Shelton, 48, explained to People magazine.

This opportunity has been in the making for years. Shelton was keen to wait until his music and restaurant venue, Ole Red, had opened its Las Vegas location. The performance space will have been operational for just over a year when Shelton’s residency kicks off.

During his residency, Shelton hinted that he might make surprise appearances at Ole Red. “While I’m there doing the residency, I may end up over at Ole Red jumping on that stage one night,” he teased.

The iconic country star took to social media to share his excitement. “I’ve been so excited to share this news with y’all… VEGAS!!!!! We’re coming to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace this February,” Shelton posted.

Shelton is now contemplating how to make his Las Vegas shows unique compared to his regular tours. Although he hasn’t released an album since 2021’s “Body Language,” he recently collaborated with Post Malone on the single “Pour Me a Drink.”

The residency is set to begin on February 5, and tickets will be available to the public starting August 16.
