Blake Shelton Announces New Residency in Las Vegas

Blake Shelton is bringing his country tunes to Las Vegas! On Thursday, LiveNation announced that the country star will launch a mini-residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2025. The shows will take place from February 5 to February 15.

“We’ve been talking about a Vegas residency for a few years, and all the pieces just came together for a run next year,” Shelton, 47, mentioned in a statement. “The Colosseum is such an iconic venue, and I’m excited to bring some honky-tonk neon to the Palace.”

The singer shared the exciting news on Instagram by posting the residency poster. “I’ve been so excited to share this news with y’all.. VEGAS!!!!!” he captioned the post.

Shelton is no stranger to Las Vegas. He opened his largest Ole Red location there this past April. The grand opening was celebrated with a private concert, where Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, joined him on stage.

“I know Las Vegas has been a big destination for cowboys, but not until tonight has there been a destination for absolute hillbillies,” Shelton jokingly told the crowd at his restaurant and music venue. “And now we got it!”

During the event, Shelton performed some of his biggest hits, and he and Stefani sang their hit duet, “Nobody But You.”

Shelton told People magazine that the idea of starting a residency has been “swirling for years now.”

“Ever since the idea was first floated about opening an Ole Red in Las Vegas, this conversation has been happening too,” he added. “If you’re going to have a stake in Las Vegas, you got to do a residency also if you’re an artist. I’ve just been kicking the can down the road because I wanted the Ole Red to be open before I did it. While I’m there doing the residency, I may end up over at Ole Red jumping on that stage one night!”

Fans have a lot to look forward to as Shelton hasn’t revealed many details about the shows. However, with his extensive catalog, there’s plenty to anticipate.

Earlier this summer, Shelton collaborated with Post Malone on a new single, “Somebody Pour Me A Drink,” which they began teasing at the end of May. Post Malone shared a snippet of the song and a video on Instagram, showcasing them jamming out to the tune. “Somebody pour me a drink, somebody bum me a smoke,” Malone and Shelton sing together.

In June, the duo made a surprise appearance at Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest, with Stefani cheering them on from the audience. They also performed the single together at Spotify House, located at Shelton’s bar, Ole Red, with Stefani watching from the wings.

Tickets for “Blake Shelton: Live in Las Vegas” will go on sale to the public on August 16 at 10 a.m. PT. Dedicated fans will have early access to a presale beginning August 9 at 10 a.m. PT.
