With a gold medal on her shelf from the Paris Olympics, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif is now showing off a big change in her personal life.

Khelif was thrown into controversy at the Summer Olympics after the now-discredited International Boxing Association released a statement on July 31 saying she failed to meet gender criteria at the 2023 world championships. The statement led to false claims that Khelif is transgender, which both the boxer and the International Olympic Committee strongly disputed.

Khelif went on to win gold and has since debuted a glamorous new look. In a video shared on Instagram by Beauty Code, Khelif was seen throwing punches in a pair of red boxing gloves before the camera showed off a new look with a floral shirt and earrings with pink flowers attached.

The change caught some viral attention, with some calling the change “dramatic.”
