Brad Pitt & Ines de Ramon’s Venice Trip: Avoiding an Awkward Jolie Encounter

This year’s Venice Film Festival is teeming with stars, including Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt along with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon.

Angelina Jolie Seems To Have Sent Brad Pitt a Coded Message at the Venice Film Festival

Indeed, Pitt and Ramon are sharing the festival stage with Pitt’s ex-wife, Jolie, with whom he is engaged in a bitter divorce battle.

On Aug 31, photos obtained by People showed Pitt and Ramon arriving in Venice together, dressed in matching white outfits ahead of the premiere of Pitt’s upcoming film Wolfs on Sept 1.

Before the 81st Venice International Film Festival, Pitt and Ramon were seen sporting light, white shirts—Pitt paired his with green-and-black check pants, while Ramon wore flowing beige pants.

But will Pitt and Ramon encounter Jolie at the festival? That’s unlikely.

Earlier this week, Jolie made a rare appearance at the premiere of her new movie Maria, dazzling fans with her performance and red-carpet fashion. However, she has already left the festival to avoid an awkward meeting and is now headed to the 51st Telluride Film Festival, which runs from Aug 30 to Sept 2.

Venice Film Festival’s artistic director Alberto Barbera told Vanity Fair, “Yes, of course. Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday the 29th, and she will leave right after with [Maria director] Pablo Larraín to go to Telluride. So, Brad will arrive only on Saturday. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido.”

So, no run-in for these exes.

For those who aren’t aware, Pitt and Ramon were first spotted together in Nov 2022, less than six months after Ramon announced her split from her estranged husband, Vampire Diaries alum Wesley.

Since then, Pitt and Ramon have made their relationship official by reportedly calling each other their partners. They have celebrated New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, and various movie premieres together.

They’ve moved in together and made their official couple debut at the F1 Grand Prix of Great Britain at Silverstone Circuit in July 2024. Now, they’re increasingly making more red carpet appearances together.
