Brandi Rhodes Clarifies Roman Reigns’ Thanksgiving Invite Post-WWE Return

Roman Reigns has made his return to WWE following his defeat to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. This marks his first appearance since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship. During Rhodes’ recent Bloodline Rules match against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam, Reigns did not come to aid Sikoa but instead chose to prevent him from winning. This surprising move allowed Rhodes, known as “The American Nightmare,” to secure a victory.

The event stunned everyone, especially those close to Rhodes. It was widely assumed that Reigns would reassert himself into the championship scene now that Rhodes holds the title. One person caught off guard was Rhodes’ wife, Brandi. Utilizing her platform on X (formerly known as Twitter), Brandi made it clear that Reigns’ actions did not immediately endear him to the family.

“He’s not invited to Thanksgiving. Not yet. There’s an open seat but…too early to fill it right now,” Brandi stated.

The post received numerous comments from fans, many of whom joked about the specific seat Reigns might want at the dinner table. However, whether Reigns and Rhodes will be on friendly terms by Thanksgiving remains a question.

So far, Reigns has not been scheduled for any upcoming WWE events, including the next “WWE SmackDown” set to occur on August 9 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Given his unexpected actions at SummerSlam, both Rhodes and WWE fans are eager for explanations as to why “The Original Tribal Chief” intervened.

The future also looks uncertain for the rest of The Bloodline. WWE Tag Team Champion Jacob Fatu was seen wearing a walking boot the day following SummerSlam, suggesting a significant injury. Fatu’s injury appeared to have been sustained during a dive through the announce table.
