Bunnie Xo Buys a Car for Childhood Bestie, Jelly Roll’s Wife’s Generous Gift

Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are one of country music’s most high-profile couples, but they’ve managed to stay true to their roots.

Over the weekend, LaTasha Marzolla, an amateur MMA fighter and one of Bunnie’s childhood best friends, shared a video showcasing an early birthday gift from Bunnie.

In the clip, the pair are driving to a car dealership.

“I know it’s not your birthday yet, but I told you I was gonna do this anyways for you, so I figured why not … get you a vehicle while it’s your birthday month,” Bunnie tells LaTasha.

“So we have one that’s already paid for, that you’ll own, that’s paid for in cash,” she continues.

They then meet a car salesman who hands LaTasha the keys to her new car. She gives Bunnie a big hug and hops into the driver’s seat.

“Thank you so much, I love you,” she replies, holding her hand over her heart.

In her video, LaTasha also shares the backstory of her friendship with Bunnie, whose legal name is Alyssa.

“You guys know her as Bunnie, but to me she will always just be Lys,” LaTasha writes. “We met when we were 14 in theater class and were inseparable from that moment on. I moved to Nashville because she told me to chase my dreams … and in the next month we are opening our brand new gym called ‘Sacred Heart.”

Bunnie later reposted the video on her Facebook page, adding, “Nothing makes me happier than seeing the ppl around me succeed.”

Bunnie Xo often shares moments of her family life with Jelly Roll, their daughter Bailee, and others in her circle. Most recently, she opened up about a health scare when an MRI indicated she might have a small aneurysm in her carotid artery. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm.

Bunnie’s generous spirit and close-knit relationships with her lifelong friends and family highlight a heartwarming side of the country music world.
