Carole Middleton joined a host of A-list public figures and celebrities at Wimbledon on Thursday. Middleton, the mother of Kate Middleton, chose a floral-inspired outfit by Cefinn for the fourth day of the prestigious Grand Slam tennis tournament in London.
For the occasion, Middleton wore Cefinn’s Irina maxidress, which showcased a white, multi-tropical floral print. Featuring a whimsical and vibrant floral design with a touch of leopard jacquard, the maxidress was reintroduced this season after becoming an “instant bestseller” in 2022. The dress also included shirring, a bias-cut skirt, and a tie-neck detail.
To complement the dress, Middleton added a cotton herringbone fitted short blazer in ecru by Me+Em. This popular brand has also been favored by Princess Beatrice and Middleton’s own daughter, Princess Catherine.
Middleton completed her ensemble with Josie low block heels in classic saddle suede by Emmy London. She accessorized with a pair of honey yellow sunglasses by Izipizi.
While attending Thursday’s matches, Middleton was accompanied by her husband, Michael, who looked dapper in a double-breasted navy blazer paired with a light blue dress shirt and a yellow tie adorned with intricate blue detailing.
Middleton’s recent style choices have prominently featured florals. During the Royal Ascot with members of the British royal family last June, she opted for a floral-print chiffon dress in blue by Self Portrait. The midi dress featured long sleeves made of sheer fabric and a pleated skirt adorned with cascading flowers in a darker, contrasting shade of blue.
Middleton joins a list of prominent individuals, including David Beckham, Jameela Jamil, Kim Cattrall, and Maria Sharapova, who attended the 2024 Wimbledon tournament. Wimbledon serves as a convergence point for athletes, celebrities, and royalty each year. The 2024 iteration of the tournament began on Monday and will conclude on July 14.
